UTAW in 2025

As a result of your tireless work as UTAW members, you did all of this and more in 2025:

• Grew membership to over 6000
• Achieved recognition at Sapphire
• Achieved recognition and a 22.5% payrise at Mitie
• Hired our first legal caseworker and two staff from membership to support volunteer reps & activists
• Hosted our first event with DRC miners
• Held monthly socials across the country
• Had our first trade dispute and protest rallies outside TikTok
• Won over half a million pounds in members’ settlement agreements
• Donated over £27,000 globally to growing unions and causes that matter to YOU
• Sent our first delegate to Cuba for the May Day parade
• Workers of the World Wide Web podcast launched to spotlight workers issues globally
• Launched utaw.shop
• UTAW workers made headlines across the world.
